‘capturing a snapshot of a certain point in time to keep as a memory, has always been very special to me. when I started to capture those special moments for other people, I knew it was something I wanted to continue doing…’
Being able to capture a moment in time, something that would usually just pass by, has always felt really special to me. O
ver the years, that’s grown into something more. Not just taking photos, but noticing the in between moments… the ones people don’t always see happening. T
he laughs, the nerves, the quick glances, the energy in a room. T
hat’s what I love capturing.
I’m Josie, a wife, a mum, and someone who’s always been drawn to the creative side of things. Photography started as something personal, but quickly became something I couldn’t let go of. The more I did it, the more I realised it wasn’t about getting the “perfect shot”, it was about capturing something real.
I work in a documentary way, moving through the space, blending into the background and letting things unfold naturally. Most of the time, you won’t even realise i’m there… and that’s kind of the point.
I’m not about overly posed or staged photos. I’d rather capture the feeling of a moment. W
hether it’s an event, a brand shoot, or something more personal, my aim is always the same, to create images that take you straight back there. N
othing staged, just real moments, as they happen.
